My Origins

I want to write a little bit about my finding place (but for the original ‘up for adoption’ post…y’all can read it here: http://icarecatsanddogs.multiply.com/photos/album/94/CASE_Trixie_dan_keempat_keluarganya_#)

You see, I was born and spent the first 2 months of my life @ this petrol station around Tebet, Jakarta.
We were happy there, my birth mommy…my birth daddy…my big bro…..and I. We got fed, and were free to roam the premises.

Then one day, these big machines came to our place….started tearing the whole place down. And one by one, the people who used to feed and take care of us, disappeared.
We stuck together, but food was scarce. Water became hard to find…and honestly …. these giant machines, scared us.

One afternoon, a few people (who I later learned were good hearted JAAN volunteers) came and took me away from that place. They left Mommy, Daddy and big bro there, though. I whimpered, I was scared boneless…but was helpless to do anything about it.
Turns out I was brought to a kinda shelter (The JAAN people calls it a ‘foster parents place’) where I could be looked after and taken care of. JAAN thought that I deserved rescuing considering my birth ‘defect’.

Mommy googled around the JAAN adoption sight and found these pictures of me, when I still lived with my foster parents. Mommy later was told that my foster parents loved me very much. They wanted to adopt me but couldn’t…due to certain circumstances.

So mommy, on behalf of both me and daddy, would like to extend our deepest DEEPEST gratitude for all involved in ‘rescuing’ me. The JAAN volunteers and the foster parents. Good people are a plenty, but good people willing to do good for neglected animals, those are hard to come by. Please keep up the good work JAAN!
