OSENG TEMPE BUMBU BALI



After the dreaded blood test results, my parents have decided to try and cut back on the daily cooking oil. Surprisingly, it isn't that hard to do. And (thay said) the food basically tastes the same.
So today kakak Lina made this 'tempeh' dish without first refrying the julienned tempe. Mommy found the recipee by googing oh-mighty-google. It's too hot and spicy for my puppy tongue...but the smell, me likey!

OSENG TEMPE BUMBU BALI

Bahan:
400 gram tempe (potong kotak kecil2)
2 batang serai (memarkan)
4 sdm kecap manis
Daun jeruk iris tipis
125 ml air
gula & garam secukupnya

Bumbu halus:
6 butir bawang merah
8 cabe merah
5 cabe rawit
4 butir kemiri
1 sdt jahe cincang
1 sdt asam jawa

Cara:
Tumis bumbu halus & serai
Masukkan kecap manis & air sampai mendidih
Tambahkan gula & garam
Masukkan tempe & masak sampai kuah mengental
